The Strong Emotions of Grief-loss
Part of the healing process involves a period of intense emotions. You must allow yourself to experience these emotions.
Anger is a common emotion following a pregnancy loss. Understanding your anger is the first step toward dealing with it. (a good solution is to learn through FREE ME TO LIVE how to address your anger in a Biblical way)
Though you may have done nothing to deserve it, miscarriage victims often blame themselves. Abortion victims almost always blame themselves. Guilt can be overwhelming and lead to self-abasement, cutting, and self-destructive behaviors. (a good solution is to learn through FREE ME TO LIVE how to overcome guilt in a Biblical way) Remember, with God’s help you can put your past behind you and move on into the beauty of a new life in Jesus Christ, forgiven and set free!
It is natural to at first, deny your feelings. However, the nature of pregnancy loss is that the feelings continue growing on the inside like an infected open-wound. Although it is common to experience reoccurring depressive events, the nature of P.T.S.D. or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, is that the end result if greater than the first event. Thus, it is common for individuals to go for many years before they finally implode emotionally.
That’s when many join an after-abortion recovery support group. Consider joining a recovery help group. Remember, there is hope. You don’t have to hurt….Someone Cares!

Can I ever be healed?
Although it does not seem possible right now, there will come a time in the future when you can think about your missing baby with fond memories, and without any feelings of guilt, anger, or sadness. You will discover that the closer you move toward the solution of God’s healing the further away your painful past will become. This will come to pass. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” Matthew 7:7
